Garlic and Herb Mushrooms

Recipe story

I came up with this recipe when I was stuck for a starter and bored with all my usual ones! It is very tasty and simple to make.

The Ingredients

  • 1 Portabello mushroom per person
  • A tub of garlic and herb cream cheese
  • Half a glass of white wine
  • Sprigs of Thyme
  • Black pepper

The Method

1. Chop off the stems of the mushrooms.

2. Mix the cream cheese with the wine.

3. Spread the cream cheese and wine over each mushroom.

4. Top with the thyme and black pepper.

5. Wrap in baking paper and cook for 15-20 minutes at 180.
