Crepes with Berries and Chocolate
Recipe story
This is such a simple but really fancy looking pudding - and the children love it too!
The Ingredients
- In season berries - strawberries, blueberries, redcurrants and rasberries
- 150 g Dark Chocolate
- 2 T milk
- for the crepes (makes 12)
- 125 g plain flour
- pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 150ml water
- 150 ml milk
- 30ml melted butter
The Method
To make the crepes:
1. Blend all the ingredients except the butter for about 30 seconds then scrape the sides to ensure you have include all the ingredients and blend again for 30 seconds.
2. Add the butter and blend for a few seconds.
3. Leave the batter sto stand for about half an hour before making the crepes in a pan - spread to cover the botton of the pan and wait for the bubbles to pop before turning over.
4. Mix together the chopped berries, add a little caster sugar if you like and fill the crepes with the berries.
5. Melt the chocolate and with the 2 T milk and drizzle over each crepe before serving.
