by Dilly Court

Set in the the late 1800's, Eloise Cribb receives the news that her husband's ship has been lost at sea. Faced with destitution she turns to his mean and unloving family for help. Once in Yorkshire she soon realises that she has no choice but to return with her two young children back to London. Life is tough and she is determined at all costs to keep her children with her and not have to abandon them at the Foundling Hospital. Will she get to keep her children and will she ever find love and happiness again? This is a story about what is important in life, children, family and true love!
